Our company‘s main objective is for the customer to have a personal, hassle-free experience whenever they are using FD Mechanics. For this to be possible we rely on a small team of people who keep our high standards of professionalism and friendly demeanour.
Throughout the year our team attends technical courses, specific to new developments in all aspects of motor vehicles.
Frazer
From his early teens, Frazer spent most of his spare time reading anything related to the motor industry that he could get his hands on.
For him, there was no other vocation. Therefore, it was not a difficult decision to enrol in a motor vehicle technology course by the age of 16. During his college studies, he began working at an independent garage, which carried out repairs to all makes and models in Epsom, Surrey, and this is where he learnt his trade.
At 20 years old, Frazer completed his MoT licence at the same garage and as his career developed and his reputation became established, he was approached to work for various garages and repair shops. These different opportunities included everything from main dealerships to smaller independent and local businesses. From there, Frazer’s entrepreneurial spirit grew stronger and FD Mechanics was formed in 2010. Working on cars is more than a job for Frazer, it is his passion which he knows shows through in his workmanship, professionalism and enthusiasm.
Andy
Andy is Frazer’s father and also the first person you are likely to meet when using FD mechanics. He deals with the majority of our collections and deliveries, as well as helping out on the phones.
Andy has been a driver for a large part of his career. From large articulated lorries to taxis and buses there are not many vehicles that Andy has not driven, therefore your vehicle is in safe hands.
Fergus
Fergus is the business youngest employee, and although his efficiency is virtually zero, he has a calming influence on the workshop when we are very busy. He loves cuddles and the occasional treat when he is not sleeping in the office.
